Contents
Schedule Elements
Schedule Elements are essential components to play the Game of Tracking.
Program Meetups
Mirroring meetups for a Trackers Team, a Program Meetup includes a Safety Stand-Up (for awareness), Elements Training, and Preparation (Program).
Check-in/Check-Out
Check-In/Check-Out is when Guardians drop-off Trackers (youth). First and successive impressions can dramatically affect a participant's experience. Critical health, wellness, behavior, and experience knowledge is exchanged during this time.
Guild Ceremony
The Guild Ceremony transitions Guides and Trackers to the program day and back out of it. It presences the purpose, hearthstone, compass points, guilds, and the Village Camp (Program).
Journal
At every camp each Tracker (Guide and participant) fills out a Trackers Journal in some form. The standard Journal takes one week. Other versions exist for Art Programs and Rovers.
Relics
Relics that include the Hearthstone, Stick, and Kit further the Game of Tracking. The schedule includes time to utilize each one.
Transitions
Transitions include setting expectations, essential activity debriefs, and Games or Activities to shift the tone. The Guild Ceremony and meals are transitions. These are either assigned by the coordinator or selected by the team of Guides.
Adventures
Morning and afternoon adventures are up to the Guide and Coordinators discretion as they align with best risk management practices, the Trackers Team curriculum and code, and the Experience Goals for the camp theme.
