+Disaster! Your group was taking a boat trip in Alaska when the boat suddenly sprouted a leak and sank. Fortunately, everyone was able to swim over to a nearby iceberg and climb aboard to await rescue. Everyone is very cold from the swim, but is OK, as long as they don't fall into the water again. Unfortunately, icebergs are not stable. Over time, as seawater melts the ice under the surface, icebergs occasionally flip over, and of course as they melt, they get smaller. Your group will have to work together to stay on the iceberg until the rescue boat arrives!

+Lay a tarp on the ground and have the whole group get on it. Explain the scenario (their boat sank, they swam to the iceberg, they are awaiting rescue, they must avoid falling back into the frigid water). The most important rule: the whole group must stay on the iceberg at all times. However, the iceberg will challenge them in two ways: 1) Melting/shrinking: the group must fold the tarp in half without anyone getting off. 2) Flipping over: the group must flip the whole tarp over without anyone getting off. If you start with a really large tarp, consider repeating and mixing the challenges. For instance, you might have the group fold the tarp in half, then flip it, then fold it in half again, then flip it again.
